Superpositivity Concert
Music That Celebrates Superpositivity
ABOUT
Superpositivity Concert is a musical celebration of Superpositivity — the best way to live. Essentially, Superpositivity Concert is a platform where singers and musicians celebrate the invaluable gift of life through songs that are based on positive qualities like inspiration, courage, hope, harmony, self-improvement, and so on.
Superpositivity Concert was launched at Model Academy in Jammu, India, on 24 December 2020, during the height of the Covid-19 global pandemic. The inaugural event featured six artists — Davinder Sheria, Harish Saini, Rakesh Anand, Rohit Maratha, Sahil Sharma and Vickrant Mahajan — who presented original songs written and composed by them. The songs were an eclectic mix of Hindi, English, Dogri, Punjabi and instrumental.
Like all Superpositivity platforms created by Superpositivity Foundation, the Superpositivity Concert can be hosted by any individual or institution anywhere in the world, without any limitation or commercial consideration whatsoever.
GUIDELINES
Every Superpositivity Concert has to be in firm compliance with the Superpositivity Concert Charter and Superpositivity Concert Format (which would be provided by Superpositivity Foundation upon applying for the licence). But, broadly, there are 10 main guidelines that must be observed during every Superpositivity Concert.
1
Every Superpositivity Concert must be devoted to a common theme - Music That Celebrates Superpositivity - without any exception whatsoever.
2
All songs at the Superpositivity Concert must be suffused with universal positive energy and must be based on positive qualities like inspiration, courage, hope, harmony, self-improvement, and so on.
3
Every song at the Superpositivity Concert has to be an original creation by the performer. It cannot be a cover version or reproduction of a previously released track by any other artist or pre-existing content that has either been created or copyrighted by any other artist, media production house or music label. Thus, Bollywood or film songs would not be played at the Superpositivity Concert.
4
A song at the Superpositivity Concert can be any language or style; it can be purely vocal, purely instrumental or vocal accompanied by instrumental, depending upon the artist.
5
Artists of all genres are welcome to perform at the Superpositivity Concert, but they must consciously refrain from any religious, political or divisive song, or from any song that shows insensitivity to any life form, gender, color, nation, occupation or community. Dark, depressive, pessimistic or negative songs or obscene, violent or hurtful lyrics must be consciously avoided by every artist. Instead, they should only focus on the infinite beauty of the world and unlimited solutions to every problem in life, thus inspiring a listener to become their highest version forevermore.
6
To ensure an impartial and equitable platform, all performers at a Superpositivity Concert must present their songs or compositions in the alphabetical order of their first names, rather than being given any preferential treatment based on their credentials or standing or standing. Also, there must not be any "special guests" or VIPs at a Superpositivity Concert, unless they are among the performers, in which case they must be treated at par with all the other performers. The same kind of seats should be used for all performers and audience members. Essentially, there must not be any discrimination of any sort at a Superpositivity Concert.
7
Superpositivity Foundation doesn't monetise any of its platforms, including Superpositivity Concert. It doesn't charge any licensing fee from any individual or institution, whether public or private. Consequently, every organiser of a Superpositivity Concert is ethically and legally bound to neither pay a performer any fee for performing at a Superpositivity Concert, nor charge the audience (whether live or virtual) any fee. Hosting as well as performing at a Superpositivity Concert must be seen as a social service, and the only reason it should be performed is to willingly inspire others and contribute to the elevation of human consciousness.
8
A Superpositivity Concert can be either live or virtual, and it can be hosted by any individual or institution anywhere in the world, so long as they use the platform for humanitarian purpose only and they fully honour the Superpositivity Concert Charter and Superpositivity Concert Format.
9
A song or composition at the Superpositivity Concert must be for a minimum duration of 1 minute and a maximum of 10 minutes.
10
Every Superpositivity Concert should have a minimum of 2 artists performing their separate setlist, and they should play a minimum of 6 songs or compositions in total, for a minimum playing duration of 20 minutes. There isn't any limit on the maximum number of performers at a Superpositivity Concert, but in order to maintain a balance, they all should play an equal number of songs or compositions. If an event has 6 or more performers, then it can feature a minimum of 1 song per performer. Every subsequent increment must be in the denomination of 1, and an organiser must ensure that the number of songs or composition is equal for all artists.
